Again, Its <current raids> not <old raids>, you dont even have the foresight to see what would happen to the core <relevant raid tier> if you did what you said, imagine thinking doing the <unsynced, outgeared tier> of the <content>(s) equates to competing in <savage prog> smh, you cant be helped. keep wishing upon a star dude. Play some <completely irrelevant rhythm games> while you're at it cos u clearly dont have a scooby <pvp main>.
We can sit here and play mad libs all day with each other but it doesn't change the fact that it's a dumb argument! No one is asking for the FRC titles or the #1 trophies or whatever else. Heck, you can keep your <eversharp> or whatever the other titles. Display 'em with pride if you want! But you know what the cool thing about the other stuff is, the <eversharp> or the <wings of fire> or the <alpha wolf> or whatever is? The fact that they're still in game with an achievable pathway to obtaining them. As is, uh, every single non-legacy PvE reward that's ever been implemented?
But as it is, anyone who actually wants to get into ranked PvP comes on here, they see the words you have written, and they say 'oh so if you didn't play the game two years ago and do pvp AND be one of the top 100 characters on your data center then then you just don't get to have this cool thing? Ever?' and this does nothing to get them into the content so they don't. But if there were actual, achieveable rewards that didn't feel like an insurmountable wall with a game mode that barely bothers to explain how to play it, let alone how to excel? Maybe you folks would see more people branching out and trying to get involved.
That's why I specifically make the suggestion that I do. If a feast season ended more than one year ago, put its reward up for 10 wolf collars. That's wolf COLLARS, not wolf MARKS. That way people still have to do the ranked modes. That way the lower tiers are still populated midway through the season. That way you get your fresh blood into the ranked mode and MAYBE, just maybe, some people decide it's actually fun and want to try for top 100 next season.
It's not all people scrambling over each other for welfare handouts, it's a mode with an anemic reward system and both a game presence and a community that does little to nothing to draw people in. Maybe stop seeing everyone not at the top level as a leech and you'll get there.
