5.0 WAR is a disappointment

And IR and FC are fine.

It's everything else surrounding it that sucks big time.

That's the problem, everything else sucks due to the way IR works.
Rotation wise the zerk+ir was way better, busrt phases were closer to each other (60 rather than 90 seconds), the burst was more engaging than a simple press 5 time fc, and during the downtimes you had to manage the gauge to maintain it high for the crit buff without overcapping but reaching the full gauge the gcd pre zerk.

Imo they should have kept what was working and fixing the problems the class had but instead they just simplified everything down and boosted the crap out of its numbers, and seeing that a large number of people were using war they thought that drk should have the same fate.
