just give us more dps skills like se hasnt been able to change this nature just design around itI don't feel punished so much as I do neglected. Healers are still capable of doing a good job, and DPS and tanks aren't going to get very far without them. You should still get a strong sense of satisfaction when your clutch rezzes and healing keeps a party going that would have otherwise failed. It just kind of sucks that to get the thrills of heals, players have to screw up.
That is kind of the conundrum though, isn't it? How do you design encounters to keep healers busy, retain the 'pure healer' impression, and also allow for error? It's a schematic that is designed to fail. Every time I want them to raise the healing requirement, I get a disaster of a PUG in my roulettes that makes me think otherwise.
What I can say is that if you're here, then settle in, or kick your feet up if you already are. The state of healers and healing isn't changing anytime soon, and I am already thinking more of the same next expansion.
