AND it was a Japanese custom on top of it that they were grateful enough to translate for us as well, and if they saw this they would regret it!

seriously, not being interested in the content is one thing, but outright bashing and insulting the devs for it is unacceptable!

i wouldn't hold it against SE if they reduced communication again if this ungrateful, self-entitled and blindly demanding attitude is all they get

Well Haku, not sure where I said you were bashing anyone so I went back and read my reply to you:

SE asked us for feedback but feedback usually does not entail BASHING the producer of the game or the company itself. Again it comes down to how you question it. Pretty sure 99.9% of us STILL playing and paying now are adult enough to express ourselves with some dignity and as I tell my 9 & 5 year old, using our words " " and not emotions though words. If you feel that strongly about it by all means express yourself just try saying it with some cuth.

Nope no mention of bashing just you can do what you wish but so can others then a little something in general to the entire community again about how you express your feelings when you type rather than just spouting off at the mouth. I don't see you bashing anyone which is why I didn't say you did. We all have feelings on how we want this game to be to make us enjoy playing it for years to come but we either work together and make compromises or we continuously bash each other or troll or <insert forum key word here> and look like idiots and ungrateful children. Again, this goes towards both ends of this debate not just you Haku. *hugs* Apology accepted though really not needed; miss understandings happen when we defend ourselves but I was not attacking you I was just attempting to explain why some of us are a bit peeved at the response to the Letter.

They are just trying to shut you up because they think that Yoshi will take your words to heart and quit working on the game. People on this forum attack negative comments because they think they are protecting the dev team by doing so. However, you can attack all you want, you can delete negative posts and have rainbow and ponies on the forum, but it wont change anything. Yoshi needs to know the problems in order to fix them, deleting negative feedback and attacking people who make it certainly doesnt stop it. It's the internet afterall.

I never said anyone should "never get bed ridden or sent to the hospital." I said that using that as the sole purpose for a letter is a cop-out. And it is. He could have used what he had written, waited a week & added game-related information and no one would be bothered by the letter. Using the letter as a means only to say "sorry, no info, I r sicky!" is really un-needed, especially when you consider that no major information has been provided in a good length of time, the playerbase has dwindled due to payment commencement, and some players are still unable to play due to a "new" payment system not being ready that was touted as being available in November.

But Belial let me ask you this, if you had not received a Letter for another 3 weeks, are you saying that you wouldn't be going, "WTF?! Why have we received no letter yet from Yoshi?! ARRRRRGGGHHHH" You're telling me in truth you would not be just as pissed having to have to wait longer by what you said he could have done in letting us know, "Hey, Yoshi here, sorry so long but was sick and here's 2 things for the letter about the game."? I have a feeling based off how most people on these forums react, and this thread is a perfect example but, I would venture to guarantee people would have bashed Yoshi for doing that buy saying, "WTF?! You could have told us you were sick instead of making us wait longer for nothing?! ARRRGGGGG /rage".

I could be wrong and I'm not flaming you Belial but curious if it's not possible either way still would have made people here freaking WIGGG OUT and rage.

And this is what we get in return for wanting to hear about the game we are so patiently waiting to get fixed.
Apparently I am ungrateful (for paying for the game)
self-entitled (because this is a discussion forums where we discuss our opinions)

What makes you so entitled to defend posts like this? What gives you the right to call this place a cesspool. I don't see anyone bashing the devs or anything, I just think you are taking other people's posts to seriously. Yes, stick it to the people who want to pay for your game. Great idea! That will surely be a positive factor for the relaunch of your failed MMO.

I completely agree and I understand why people can get upset. All I wanted was like someone so etiquettely put it. 3 sentences of info on the game. I'm not selfish I'm not mad I'm not angry. I just feel it would have been nice to know what is going on.
