Child-like characters?

I'm very much aware that we would most likely have to wait for an entire new FF MMORPG to see anything close to what F2P games have been pulling off for a while now. Honestly, I stopped expecting much when they released Viera and Hrothgar. I don't expect them to release much in regards to character customization. But if somehow they fount whatever resources and funding that they needed to add them and maintain them, I would definitely be one of the people asking for either a short race or better customization as a whole. Or both.

The only reason why I'm even in this thread is I cannot believe the amount of people creating double-edged swords as a way to keep this game perfect in their eyes. If you wanted to simply say you just don't like short races, fine. But to go as far as to say PR and some perve or whatever nonsense is why they shouldn't add short/child-like races in if they ever considered doing so, is BS. SE stating their own double edge statement only made it worse. But as I said, you do you.

PS. Nandrolone, I'm not raging at you I'm just stating how I feel. I know I can come off a little strong sometimes.

I'll not mince words about it. I find erp with child like characters disgusting. Giving people the option would just lead to that as an inevitability. I do not see how that is a double edge sword, particularly since i'm in favor of current children in game being aged up.

Same goes with Lalafell.

I know i wouldn't mind their deletion. As someone who has a love for fantasy art, seeing armor previews on a Lalafell always sours my day. I mean half the armor is gone, how is that a preview?!?!

But that's not going to happen. Lalafell are in and we're stuck with the spuds now, just like the flea bags that are Hrothgar, just like the impossibility of child like playable races. At least i can enjoy not walking into Limsa and not child erp for the foreseeable future. One out of three, i'll take what i can get at this point.

So based on your post, if you saw two Lalafells ERP in Limsa, would you be ok with that?
