Yay for being constructive!

As far as a Pugilist tanking goes on this fight, haven't done it personally since 1.20 but there's a video floating around and not being able to execute Howling Fist didn't seem like that much of an issue.

Going into DD - you instantly increase your Auto-Attack damage in that fight merely by popping Fists of Earth (doubled the damage per fist for me). MP Management can be an issue if you plan on keeping it up full-time but you really don't have to. You should be able to keep it up for the first phase easily. You can also execute the Simian Thrash combo in the first phase. After he starts wsing I'd steer from trying to combo it but you can still freely use it. Pre-Hellfire you can use Pounce -> Sucker Punch to help with some recovery. During Hellfire, Sanguite Rite can actually be used to get a nice chunk of it back. If you have a THM that doesn't use it with Sacred Prism you can just set it yourself. Howling Fist is obvious - you can get nice returns on it with Blindside + Blood for Blood. If you need HP you should probably prioritize Bloodbath over Second Wind IF you can get Howling Fist off. Second Wind is essentially instant so it's better for those "ohshit!" moments where you can just pop it. It's also good if you get caught in a sear during a weaponskill.

Speaking of sears, that's a fairly large issue for Pugilist in this fight but you can get around it. You can toggle him off/on to deal with it, or you can actually go in config to keep him locked on but not keep your character locked on. This allows you to "weave" in and out to let your auto-attack rounds hit but not worry about getting hit from sear.

I haven't successfully gotten a combo on a nail... I guess because they don't have a "face"? Or maybe I'm doing it wrong. Either way, it's just something to note if you plan on wsing them down.

I can't really think of anything else. The only classes I've fallen behind in parses are (good) THM/ARC... and the only time ARC beats me is when they have a good day with Bloodletter.
