First of all, the fact that SE is also making FF7 remake and whatever else literally means nothing for FFXIV because they're completely different teams.

Not entirely true since SE pulls resources from Yoshidas team from certan incomes still like the Square Enix Store, while the game only lifes from subs, extra retainer subs, which is horrible design still in my eyes, and mogry store which is debatable on its own aswell.
