Would defo main male Viera if they were in the game so I'm 100% in for having them (alongside Fem Hrothgar ofc). I would love them to have a pretty boy look to them but also give them some faces that are more on the tough look for people that don't dig the pretty boy look. Oh and yeah a good range of height is always a plus. Also hope they touch upon the headgear/hairstyle access for the Viera and Hrothgar because that's also kind of an issue itself.

Ive been looking and it seems Yoshida has confirmed how male viera will look if they are implemented he specifically stated: 'they would be more like the elezen race, but with bunny ears' so a similar treatment to female viera. Take male elezen animations give them higer quality and I think theyll give them supermodel faces bunny ears a male miqote body and a loincloth for starter gear and done

Yes to male viera and female hrothgar, as it needs to go without saying. If I had to choose only one to have in the game in the future, please let it be male viera. Lore has already been twisted and broken for the huge abundance of female viera already, not to mention male miqo'te and female roegadyn of the past.

I know this post is months old now, but I pray people will see this and know there is no lack of want for the viera to be completed! Even if it is far into the future, PLEASE let male viera happen!! The design idea of them being a bit shorter than the females is cute too, but no extreme height dimorphism like with the au ra, though.

I wouldnt like male viera to eb like female au ra at all. The mistake was already commtied once no reason to make it again. If anything I'd want female au ra to be able otb e waaay taller (at least xaela) and height is extremely easy to edit

The "Lore" standpoint isa lame excuse in my eyes, we can't break lore in there own game? Yet spit on lore like class changes like AST? Yes i know two different departments but still, the argument is the same here.

Lore also says that male Miqo'te are isolationists who rarely leave their tribe. Go take a walk through any given city and see how many you spot. Of course, this goes into the question of the canonical status of other players.....

Our FC member were talking about it yesterday and we all agreed that there should me a male Viera and that FFXIV with gender-locked races looks now like a cheap free to play MMORPG. Even though I'm not going to change into Viera when it appears, I support the idea from the bottom of my heart. It's always good to have an option.
