This topic AGAIN? How many times do we need to go over this?

Look, plain and simple: If you want all those lovely tomes and MASSIVE exp reward - you have to sit through the cut scenes. That's the ONLY REASON they put in the increased rewards. Cause, effect.

The moment they remove the forced aspect of those cut scenes is the EXACT moment that they will REMOVE the upgraded rewards. You will no longer DESERVE them. You will not be earning them. The rewards are for your invested TIME. If you can just skip them, you no longer are taking the time to do something and no longer get all that juicy exp and the extra tomes. Period. End of story. There is literally no getting around or arguing with this basic fact.

If you don't like wasting your time? You shouldn't do the roulette. That's all there is to it. Really. The roulette was put in place to help new people actually SEE THE STORY the way that they intended without being bullied and left behind by jaded and rude vets who only cared about getting through it 'as fast as possible' and leaving them behind, bum-rushing bosses, and forcing them to just sit there being dragged from boss to boss without seeing a thing... which is what you all want to do to them as well. 'You can see them in the inn!' is nor fair or good to players who actually enjoy or want to see things AT THE TIME. And yes, there are people who DO want to actually see it as it happens. It matters.

I sincerely, deeply, REALLY hope that they finish re-doing the ARR 2.0 story soon and that includes CM and Prea, turning them into TRUST-like dungeons that no longer require 8-man groups.... which completely rip out the MSQ Roulette. Just remove all that exp/tome reward. No more threads. No more people exploiting. And people can level other ways.
