Well...technically that chart tells us that only 12-20 percent of the users played FFXI.
But still XI was fantastic in many aspects and we should take the great things we can from it. (specifically the wide and varied locales)

Chains of Promathia, imho, was a great story and had some really challenging fights, but as far as gameplay itself is concerned Treasures of Aht Urghan was better. The story wasn't as good, but between Beseiged, Nyzul Isle, Assault, Eihnerjahr, it had more gameplay options then Chains of Promathia had. Also, anybody could participate with only one completed mission into the main storyline, unlike CoP and Zilart, which required you to be almost finished with the missions to gain access to sea and sky. Then again, that's just me, your mileage may vary.
