It's honestly crazy. I'm on my sixth camp since yesterday right now. Let's hope I'll get lucky at some point. GL on getting a house.

Good luck.
I tried for more hours then that, and still with no luck. I hope you guys get a plot for you all to call home. I just think you should be prepared with snacks, drink, and remember to use the loo before that, because you can expect to hang by those placards for hours on end.
oh yes, don't over do it. Stop ones your wrist gets swollen and hurt. Don't do like me and end up with damaged sinews for nothing.
This house timer is crap. When you wait for 2 hours to buy a house and some other player transfer there home from another location is bs. I think that should be disabled, people should get equal chance to get the house or make wards or make the timer not random. I know this don't matter it falls on death ears, but I'm sure other agree about the housing crap.

This is why you go for bad Goblet plots that no one in their right mind would relocate to. Then you can relocate to a better plot. This house timer is crap. im baby
I don't get why the timer for one is so long, I mean I read something about it being from 30 min to 22+ hours... I mean wtf!? I get, that they want to give everyone a chance to see an available plot, before it's resold again, but people need to sleep and work as well. People with an actual life can't stay up the whole night hoping to get a house. congrats, I saw that a plot is open, however I need to go off so I won't die tomorrow at work so it's simply a show of what I can't have.
And why don't they give some kind of vague feedback on how long the timer will last? like: "The plot is unavailable for purchase, it looks like it will take some time for it to be purchasable again." and "It looks like the plot is about ready to be purchased."
It would give everyone a chance to see if it'll be worth to spend the next 8 hours sitting there staring at a stupid board or go to sleep and wake up a bit earlier the next day and hope that you didn't sleep past the timer. I mean I'm against a visible timer as well. Bots would rule the market and people with high-ping would never get a house at all, but I think making the timer-mechanic a bit more transparent would benefit every possible buyer and make people waste less time on a house which will be available around 4:30 am.
I mean I don't want to waste my whole night on standing there clicking like a maniac just so my FC can actually use an airship/submarine, however, if I want that for my FC there's no other way than that or risk my account and try to buy an FC via reddit.

I would prefer the housing timer to be MUCH shorter, say 7 days. So that all of these people with a alts sitting on houses they use once every month-and-a-half have to work for their greed and ego.

So if someone takes a two week vacation and don't take XIV with them somehow, they lose their house? Lol, no.
I basically think it's just too long - if they shortened the maximum time it would help a lot.
