Im not playing it lately. I didn't know I had to ask your permission to do whatever I wanted, Mr. Noname.
Hahahahahahaha... oh god, this people. It's really hilarious that people have been super polite in their replies but you've been a hostile tool this whole time. Want to know why you don't get many games translated in to Spanish? Because the accessibility of English. Most, if not all, second most spoken language is English. It is the L2 language king and while there is so many people who know English, languages like Spanish, Arabic, Russian etc. will not be used commonly in games like ffxiv.
Who says anything about permission? You're needlessly aggressive in your approach.
I'm just curious why you're here with your petty complaints if you don't like the game. Even if you're not playing now, are you going to play it in the future and renew your sub (assuming the game doesn't change to suit your supposed wants) or do they let unsubscribed people continue posting in the forum?
I exercise my right to speak up and complain about what I think is necessary.Who says anything about permission? You're needlessly aggressive in your approach.

If you don't like criticism, don't read me or don't enter any forum. It's that easy.
You've been very rude in this thread, so I'll avoid my usual politeness as you clearly don't desire that courtesy.
The game not being translated into certain languages is a perfectly valid criticism and a perfectly reasonable desire to have. Hence why I was happy to defend the OP complaining about the badly written Italian on FFXIV's social media channels. Because it's perfectly valid to have a problem with/criticise/etc.
Despite this, it's plain and simple, you're just throwing your toys out of the pram because people also see it from the other side. You're welcome to it, as we are welcome to criticise it.
But it's very simple.
- They are doing QoL Stuff
- They're just not doing QoL Stuff you desire
- They're also not doing QoL Stuff I desire (disgruntled healer main here)
- It's a matter of what budget SE gives the dev team
- It's also a matter of the type of resource they spend that budget on and who they hire as a result
- An artist making umbrellas available because they have artists available to do that doesn't mean this is resource that could go on doing the QoL you want. Unless those artists are fluent in Spanish and have the time to fully translate the game.
- It's not like they're going to fire artists who have time to make umbrellas to make up the budget needed to hire Spanish translators. Or Spanish voice actors if they go the whole hog and translate audio, which is not cheap.
- Should SE give the dev team a bigger budget & more staff? I think so, yes. Definitely. I'd also be curious how big of a budget this game already has versus how much they make.
- Do I think the dev team is being xenophobic as you suggested earlier? No, not at all. It's a massive game, a translation is by no means a small job.
Is this brown nosing SE? No. It's just looking at things from more than 1 angle rather than making baseless judgements. This is me speaking as one who has posted /much/ criticism to stuff I think can be improved in this game. Despite this, I can recognise things from the other side too and am not jumping to erroneous conclusions or throwing fits at people who disagree with me or are trying to look at things from a different angle.

Awwww, cupcake, you will not be polite... big problem for me tho.
I do enjoy the game but i think it could improve. Like allowing more people to play it in their language or introducing real content and not focusing on costumes and furniture.
