PLDs: You have Clemency for a reason.

So by that logic... it's OK for a tank to assume that a healer is going to have no trouble whatsoever in 3 group pulls, but a healer should never, ever, ever, ever assume that a job that has a heal, like PLD, is willing to use it?

Maybe replace the word assume with "hope". Like I hope that the healer can keep up, or the healer can hope that the PLD has their CDs mapped. You can also hope that the PLD will use their mana to Clemency when you are falling behind.

Perhaps we just shouldn't walk into duty finder Holmister Switch expecting anything from anybody.

I personally just pull the big pull and if the healer can't keep then its w/e to me. I'm not going to make a post about how SCHs have Excog and that they should use it.

Fact is though the pull can be done without a PLD using clemency, so if they did some proper CDs and you are having trouble, you should look more into improving then telling them what to do.
