BLUE is palatable, if it's not for you, that's your opinion then, because for me it is. It may not be the perfect thing, but it serve it's purpose.

As I said, not playing this game or just complaining is the same thing. Better leave next time.

What feedback? You're complaining because people have a different opinion than you. You're the one contradicting yourself.

I have as much right to play the game as you do, so I won't leave, and I am going to complain about the parts I don't like. If you can't accept that other people criticize things you like, perhaps you should leave instead?

Also, John, you only call it whining because you disagree, I loathe to use the term but quit white knighting. Also nice assumption that I don't like the job because it can't be mained, that's not what I don't like about the job. I don't like the job because it's a clunky mess.

After trying a bit yesterday, I really wish they just went wild and made BLU an OP mess. I can attempt Savage on any other job; let me curbstomp Brute Justice.
Also Mimicry needs some improvement. Needs to be a stance, either two separate moves (one like tank stance, one like Cleric Stance)or one move that cycles.
A positive: I like how some spells look. I like how you made those seals useful to me again (at least for a day!) and I appreciate making THOSE rewards pretty easy to get.

Ive given months of constructive criticism across this forum on BLU, this thread was simply to express my dissatisfaction with the new offerings, and how they contradict previous statements by the devs. And no i cant point to an FF where the kit was entirely unique, but in other ffs blus were treated as part of the party like every other job, and the devs didnt give excuses saying its kit was the reason why when its kit is clearly highly derivative

No. Complains are important, but only when followed by a solution, that's constructive criticism. What do you think the devs will think when they finally give a chance to your "feedback" from this tread? It's just "more of the same" and copy of other jobs, and a reskinned PF. I'm not seeing a solution on what you said. What should them do then? Because I understand their concept and calling "just 220 pot spells" tells me that you just don't get it.

Allied Seals have been in the game since early ARR. Yes, they are lackluster, and made even more so by the fact that GNB and DNC (as well as SAM/RDM) got nothing new from them.

Theres 24 slots. What happens if more than 24 spells FROM PLANNED 128 become mandatory as you want? Not good. Do you want them to delete all these beauties?

If you like to use the spell with the most range, that's you. The magic of choice involves more than that. You can choose what is you main damage spell, what it looks, the AoE shape, the damage type, and that's awesome.

Currently there is Condensed libra, that alone makes you want to have 1 astral "220 pot", 1 umbral "220 pot" and sharpened knife.

You can choose sleep + death, or freeze and kill with damage, or stun + sharpened knife... Perpetual ray can stun passing through resistances, so one BLU can use that and the other players Sharpened knife. There's so much to do and all works well, does not necessarily needs to be the "meta" comp, because its not only the meta that completes the duty. And on top of that, the monsters are different, with different resistances, making you willing to choose a better strategy. You can do it, or keep spamming the one spell you have, that's the choice.

With all that explained, what do you want BLU to be? a 24 spell normal job without all these rich collections of spells? To what? Farm the best ilvl to become useless in the next ilvl patch? Why bother? It all resumes if you have fun or not.

You can't learn all the skills needed for carnivale from the overworld though? You need mind blast and glower to pass quests to unlock it, and I'm pretty certain you need diamondback to clear some missions of it, can only get those from instances.

I do agree that it should have an auto-matching feature like the DF though, would at least make grouping to do content as BLU a lot easier and more convenient.

That's true, but I don't see a problem, cuz they are low leveling dungeons.
