It certainly seems like they just took a list of every armor that has pieces going below the waist seam and 'adjusted' the butt model for that group. Unfortunately, that includes a whole bunch of cases like this one with zero need for the changes.

2019 and moving onto 2020, still can't wear 99% of collared tops because of the hair I chose. Which is the Samsonian locks.

This. Ever since launch, all long hair clips horribly with all collars in game, which are a lot, but no, let's make butts flat to solve some minor clipping that didn't even matter.

Sadly though, even without the overlapping top it doesn't look as good as it did. I swapped to the healer raid version for now because it looks slightly less awful.

This is very disappointing I was so very happy with the changes for more character customization for both sexes but now it's ruined, I'm at a loss for words why take this away? It makes no sense!

The before pic looks more natural to me, The weight of the butt sags so the bulk of the curve is near the bottom. In the before pick it's way too high, as if it's full of helium..
And, what armor would leave one's butt sitting out in the open like that anyway. Is it supposed to distract your enemy while you hack him to death?

Actually, the sad part is, I've seen enough mutant proportions in my life to confidently say that people like this most likely exist IRL.

It doesn't mean that they're good default characters when customization isn't available, though.
