This is very disappointing I was so very happy with the changes for more character customization for both sexes but now it's ruined, I'm at a loss for words why take this away? It makes no sense!
Square... did the woke crowd infiltrate you?
#SaveTheButts

I was almost outraged, but I was told that it depends on the top since it was causing the butt to clip through certain outfits. That would make it a mostly good thing then since it wouldn't be good for your butt cheeks to phase through your dress when you sit down. If there are outfits that it was changed for that there weren't any clipping issues, perhaps you can highlight those exceptions and maybe they will let it be enhanced for them. I'm glad it still works for the 2B outfit and many tops though. Hopefully they will re-add it for any misfires on the clipping focused changes.

The thing is, the butts weren't changed for those items they were clipping with. It's an across-the-board change where if a shirt has ANYTHING hanging down below the natural waist-line, then that part of the outfit gets altered (see any skirt that dissappears when you equip 99% of the shirts in this game).I was almost outraged, but I was told that it depends on the top since it was causing the butt to clip through certain outfits. It's a major problem because the butt that is modeled to emulate a certain character doesn't work on the costume set that you're supposed to use to cosplay as said character.
From what I've seen it get disabled on the same tops that disables the quaintrelle skirt. Someone already mentioned it and I think its true, they seem to have a list of tops that can disable parts of the pant models. So they probably just put 2B's legging into this same group to fix the few tops that were clipping with 2B's leggings. For 2B's leggings its way too extreme and gets disabled on far more than it needs to. 2B leggings are disabled on 2B's dress because its using the same setting that disables quaintrelle skirt on almost everything (including 2B's dress). The thing is, the butts weren't changed for those items they were clipping with. Having no personal interest in "butts" (I have one, I sit on it), I'm amazed just how much discussion goes into them around here...
Also you're eating some weird-shaped pancakes if smaller-but-still-curved is "pancake-shaped".
Funny you mention "squeezed toothpaste tube" - that's the mental image that comes to mind when I try on the dresses. They don't just narrow the waist but also the ribcage, and it looks incredibly unsettling to me.
Indeed. We discussed it a while ago and concluded that it's misleading due to different poses in the two images - the 1.0 girl is stretching (torso forward, legs slightly bent) which makes her look bigger compared to the neutral pose.

Yeah I don't get it either. I see the curve just fine, so I don't really get why all the fuss about it.

"Having no interest in the side lives of NPCs it's amazing how certain forums dedicate themselves to them" You do understand that we all don't share the same interests and though we can have many interests in one thing? If it isn't that important, there was no reason to dedicate a coffer to them in raid, that gave the INCENTIVE to run that raid multiple times instead of only running it for the item drops that week. If glamour wasn't important, then there wouldn't be contests, websites showing gear etc... not just from fans but by the company itself.
Shape is not the equivalent of depth. Circle is not a Sphere. Also you're eating some weird-shaped pancakes if smaller-but-still-curved is "pancake-shaped".
A pancake is often referred to a FLAT object talking about its DEPTH. While Shape (round) is also its feature, they're not synonymous terms.
It would be as ridiculous as coming in and chiding people about how someone describes that characters run like feathers (describing weight) and exclaiming "I don't know where you people come from where people look like feathers!"

It's not that misleading actually, and what you're PERPETUATING however, IS. Neither rear was large, there hasn't been an argument about it being HUGE, in 1.0 There was however an argument about what was largER is now missing.
See youtube post.

The body's internal balance is a recognizable thing in anatomy, especially artistically (to the point, yes some embellishments may occur) my other post also showed this later but I'm sure it was skipped.
So yes, the appearance of the rear is actually kinda important to people aesthetically not because people just like looking at butts, but also because it balances out the human body.
Thankfully later posts from you are more well reasoned, but I was seriously disappointed in seeing this kind of condescending passive aggressive response from you.
