Why would they touch the butt in the first place if the issue with 2b was skin tone coloration of the top? The leg part? Maybe, but why would the butt still be there on tops that don't have anything covering the butt, or waist? That is a slim hope, I never have said I couldn't be wrong, that would be a good hope for players if you were right though.

People did complain about it clipping through skirts as a bug. They've fixed the bug - apparently by putting it under the same "deactivated by specified chest gear" part of the leg model as things like sashes and the ill-fated Quaintrelle's skirt.

Presumably the actual fault is with which tops are set to deactivate it, which seems to be a blanket setting rather than judged by the individual pieces. They probably need to review that setting.
