Uhh, bait? I feel this is genuine and for that I'd say that it'd be neat if this was added and I have no qualms with it, but maybe the devs should be working on more pressing issues? Fixing Viera and Hrothgar heads (Helms, hair), working to implement the 5.X dyeable artifact gear, and balancing jobs maybe?

Fray stuff...

I don't think the corpse was ever animated. It was more of a Fight Club thing, where the stone's Dark Knight souls interacted with your id, making you functionally multiple personalitied. Nobody else ever saw Fray after he died, the corpse never left it's location in the Brume. Except for maybe the last fight which could have been some sort of aetheric solidification. I'm unclear on whether the Ishgardians saw anything there or if they just watched you kick yourown ass.

I had assumed we were actually carrying his corpse from place to place and hearing it talk to us, like our character actually went a little bit insane. This was backed up when the level 50 job quests has the knights of Ishgard sent to arrest us, and one of the listed crimes was conversing with corpses

I think that's from all the time you spent loitering around the Brume on a very exposed stairway while talking to him and looting his corpse. Maybe.

The dev team is not Bethesda Games Studios, and you should all be thankful because those guys couldnt code thier way out of wet paper bag, and SE actually fixes bugs.
