    Does it not? Having the best invuln in the game, plus on-demand self and targeted healing with little to no opportunity cost through Nascent isn't enough? Using that thing before Inner Chaos/Fell Cleave or Inner Release gives you like 50k~60k self healing on a good day, which is orders of magnitude higher than any other tank's sustain with, and I stress this, no personal loss whatsoever.

    Who cares? We're talking about a situation in which you killed the boss, meaning the job performs perfectly well at the only thing that matters: killing the boss while not being killed by it.

    Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed HW WAR and having to manage resources in order to move into and execute a highly damaging Berserk window. I'd love if Nascent could be used on yourself like Dragoon's tether. I'd love if DRK didn't steal our burst phase. I'd love it if we went back to dealing 75% of a DPS' overall damage instead of 60%. I'd even love it if Holmgang went back to 6s duration at a 3m CD.

    But ignoring that it's an incomparable machine of a tank, with defensive utility which the other tanks can't pretend to compete with, just because it's not the best on a leaderboard website in one possible metric? WAR has been top dog for literally the entire last 5 years, the overall tank balance is closer now than it's ever been, and still we get complaint threads every week that it's not the god-class. What do you want?

    My bad, I should have been more straigth to the point regarding the purpose on the post: my purpose is mostly to ask for rewarding rotation rather than potency adjustments as you can guess by seeing of much I talk about having rewarding rotation at the end of the 2 part and 3rd part. I don't ask war to be top dps when I talk about potency adjustment, just doing a dichotomy about options SE can choose.

    The problem I raise is more about in an optimized fight where actually your healing/specific war cds actually don't make up for the raw dps you don't have since it will maybe save 1 or 2 healing gcd for your healers for 1 or 2 dps gcd. Even with that it doesn't prevent healers from having very good dps performance with a pld/gnb comp which are supposed to be "less comfy" than with a drk or a war. But that problem is caused by how the healing system works: heals being too "easy" or not enough damage incoming during the fight when your healers play well.

    I read again my post and I should have been more specific (made a whoopsy sorry): almost all my points are set in a optimization point of view where clearing the fight is the 1st step I could say. In a mindset where the important thing is just to clear the fight,
    basically all my points (except the QoL changes I guess) are meaningless I agree.
