I'm all for adding more longevity to the zones, including y'know... improvements to the fate system/rewards for one. But based on the responses here, it also sounds like you (OP) either play more often or focus on open world content more than what I'd think the average player does.

I mean, I'm not even close to finishing everything there is to do out in the zones, and I play for hours almost every day. In game priorities differ obviously, but I don't know many people who actually have finished every single thing they're interested in and haven't also just stopped playing (or stopped playing for just about anything but raiding and the occasional daily queue).

So yeah, there are improvements and changes they could (and hopefully will) make, but I also think they're developing with a bit of a slower consumption speed in mind. Or just... with different priorities. Possibly both.

A break from the game or a crack at something new (if there's anything you haven't tried yet) might be worth a shot. And I'm not saying that sarcastically. I've taken a lot of breaks from the game myself, a lot of times because of burnout or because there just wasn't anything I felt like doing when I logged in. Helps break the monotony.
