I love it. Need the OST to come to stores for preorder already!

I really don't like SB battle theme. It breaks the experience and immersion completely. It doesn't match the rest of the score at all, I hate it... =(
But I have no choice but to live with it.

You can turn off the overworld battle music for random mobs in your settings, so you don't have to hear it if you don't want to.
If I die, forgive me. I used to be a Dragoon.

I don't know, Rencounter has really grown on me, which is unusual given I'm not often a fan of screechy soft-metal guitars, but it just works somehow.
Best theme in the game.
I didn't realize they added the Necromancer job already.
I never have battle music on just because it would be an actual crime to interrupt Sands of Amber or any of the night music. I think it's one of the very few weaker aspects of the expansion, but that's a very, very minor complaint.
Heavensward probably has my favorite for the start up and the progression into the main theme. It's not too much, but still bombastic. Stormblood and Shadowbringers both remind me of turn based games, because you know you're entering a battle with BABY BABY BABY BABY or [insert Those Who Fight here]. But after fight 50, it's going to grate a bit.

The ARR battle theme was okay.
I quite liked Melt from HW.
The Stormblood battle theme got on my nerves at first, but I warmed up to it.
The ShB theme is the only one I legitimately dislike. I turned off the battle music.
It's a good theme...just not a good theme for this expansion or game. It completely clashes with the rest of the soundtrack, and not a single dungeon, trial, or area matches with the "vibe" it gives. It IMO is the only blemish on this soundtrack, and they could have done a lot better.
You say this in game that has Dragonsong, Bismark's theme, actual high energy j-pop that is Suzaku's theme, and Dohn Mheg's theme. It's a good theme...just not a good theme for this expansion or game. The mass appeal for the OST is how many genres and songs there are. There is no uniform "vibe." If you'd never played, and someone played 15 seconds of Ifrit's theme, and then Innocent's, you would not think they are from the same game let alone genre.
