If they add incentives for group content I think it should be on encouraging players to find others to play with regularly so they don't have to rely on DF filler in the first place, rather than just finding ways to fill the queue with more bodies.

Like bonuses for queuing with FC - playing with friends should be the most rewarding, literally and figuratively.

Like others for me it is the ability loss. I don’t k ow how they fix that but it’s not a fun use of my time running lower dungeons with the amount of abilities lost on many jobs.

Even if they bumped the rewards I’d still have more fun running level appropriate dungeons

And how exactly would that beenfit new players exactly?Which is what leveling roulette was designed for.To help fill queues for newer players trying to progress older dungeons.
Your suggestion is to encourage players to queue as a group and slow down queue times for new players as a result.

Pretty much this. If I got to keep all of my abilities (made weaker by synced weapon damage) I'd be more inclined to do lower level content.

The rewards for the roulettes just aren't enough to justify the time and boredom.

All the naysayers who claim "it can't be done, it'd break the game" to keep all abilities while level synced: It already exists on Chinese servers. The game isn't broken.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

Leveling roulette has the second best exp rewards and solid max-level rewards for the effort.

Not sure what they could do other than add a small reward for subsequent queues.

New players are capable of joining FCs, and I think they should be encouraged to find groups to play with and make friends. I guess I don't see how this wouldn't also benefit them more than the current system unless they refuse to play with others, in which case that's a choice but not the general point of an MMO. Solo options would still exist and are super convenient, but I think the incentive should go to groups.

The point of roulettes is to help solo players who don't have a full party available complete instances. Why would they add extra incentives for premades?

Figuratively, you are already rewared: With players you know/get to know for future content and thereby a more pleasant (and maybe easier) dungeon experience.

To quote: "Joining this duty as a party will nullify any 'adventurer in need' bonus."

Add same stipulation with other incentives.

    Done.

I'd love an alternative sync that puts me at minimum item level to balance preserving all my high level abilities.
