2.0 City-State Change Request.

With the most recent news regarding market wards all being linked in 2.0;

We are planning on linking all three market wards together in 2.0! The reason behind not being able to link them earlier than that is due to the current system limitations.

I am curious to know if we're going to be allowed to change city-states too. I for one would love to change my city-state to Gridania, but I picked Ul'Dah due to the market wards and how central Ul'Dah was for leveling.

I don't HATE Ul'Dah, but I'd really like the option to re-pick my city-state. Since we're getting the option to repick race, character appearances, gender, and servers, I really don't think repicking the city-state is beyond the scope of reason-ability here.

tl;dr: I picked Ul'Dah because it was, and still is the only populated city. I want to repick to another city-state in 2.0 after the city states are re-done.

I also would like to be from Gridania. I chose the GC there but never anything in the wards. I hope they will allow this.

Aside from the initial 3-or-so story quests, there is no difference between what city you started in. Does it really matter?

No, I am not referring to the GC's. My home city is literally want I want changed.

While that is correct that there really isn't a bonus or perk to changing cities; it does still leave open the inevitable question of future content based on your actual city.

Bumpity-bump-bump. I would be in favor of the change too, and don't see why this wouldn't be present in character re-creation if it's in the original.

If SE allow us to make the main story quest again with 2.0 a starter city change would be nice.

Agree with OP but i would klike to have something concrete in game to have chosen that city. Some content (other than story stuff) or something similar to FF11 that permits you to contribuite for 'your' city.
