The arms race between BLM and SMN

I ran a couple raids today as both blm and smn, they did roughly the same damage, but man, smn was sooo much easier. Everything is basically instacast save for hard casting dots every few minutes but even the theres swiftcast

I think smn single target is a bit too much, my akhmorn and revelation was matching my blm xenoglossy, and let's not forget those are aoe attacks.

My smn is also about 3 or 4 ilvl behind with spell speed gear, I can only imagine what properly melded smn with equivalent gear as my blm would do
