But I find it funny how people actually believe that world visiting is actually the problem.

Well, it was a part of it though and it didn't need to be but that's all on SE's court.
They admitted that they saw this coming should
have fixed the issue way before or prevented it before the patch even dropped.
Not drop it and say "Go!" and have players scramble as to
what's going wrong and then band-aid fix it, it was too late.

I think a better idea would be doing a Data Center Restoration or something
and make a huge progress bar and then add instances for the FATEs or something.
Anything that didn't take 3 days to complete for the next 3-4 months.
It's was a Lose/Lose situation for a lot of people.

You get there, probably lag to heck and back or stuck in congestion cycle
or you wait but it's too late because the progress was already done.
The concept was nice, execution was a nightmare. Just sucks. :/
