New healer gear

I actually really like the new PVP gear!! It is super slick and makes me think of the gear from Alpha Scape kinda? Not that it’s the same or similar, just the feeling is similar. If you don’t have the gear from Grand Cosmos, that is good too! I have almost the full set.

why is it if you have "mage" attached to your job you need a full-length gown to cast magic? the new whm af looks like a wedding dress with red accents. and well blm is not far behind being a coat with a dress

Well, what do you think of when someone tells you to picture a wizard? Generically at least, someone wearing long robes.

Asking why the mage gear is all robes is like asking why the tank gear is all armour.

Spellcasting just looks better with long fluttering robes or coats, to me anyway.

I agree the pvp gear is amazing and Im glad we got something different.

With the Replica Sky Pirate/Rat gear now being able to be used for every class I think they're finally preparing to start making that a reality for the older gear sets.

Now healers can finally rock the Sky Pirates Fending and Scouting tops to allow for some cool mixes. Very happy to see progress coming from the New PVP sets and the repurposed older ones.

Now just give me my Ironworks Gathering Cap as a normal glam and I'll be extremely happy.

I mean the AF is the gear I'd most expect to adhere to tradition. It's the very definition of iconic gear.

Other gear doesn't have to be robes, though, and for a change they actually gave us something. I wouldn't mind more gear with a scarf or cloak style look instead.
