What do you even mean ignored? We are getting new BLU content in 5.15, whether that makes BLU more worthwhile still remains to be seen, but the Devs ignoring your pipedream fantasy for the job isn't problematic, addressing the real issues is.
Please, insult me more.
Anyway, to correct you - expecting a class in the game to be functional and worthwhile, especially when there are means to make it so. (IE: Templates for duty finder, new spells designed specifically for class functionality, amongst other things.) That's not a 'pipedream fantasy'. Try again. People have offered their criticism over this 'limited job' farce since it was first announced, and it has most likely been entirely ignored being that the overwhelmingly negative response to it hasn't even been acknowledged. Square tends to do that.

If I may, there's a middle ground between providing feedback and wild fantasies we've seen about how BLU could be a full job.
But it's true there has be... not so much Dev feedback on this one. Apart from nerfs to acquisition rate and now the upcoming BLU, that's not really addressing the broad problem most people have pointed.
BLU is boring. It's funny for a time then falls into oblivion. There are no rewards, no incentive to play it, and it's kind of punishing to use it somehow.
So we'll see what's happening in 5.15, but I can bet the problem will be the same. People will play it a bit then will forget it, and pity the "waste" of resources that went into this content when they could have been used to build a proper full job, or something else with a better gameplay design.
