Who got boosted by Balmung players other than Balmung?this is true.
but one can argue that the rest of crystal progress get boosted by balmung player, hence the rant about world visit. but of course this is just one big assumption.
regardless, people cant participate in their own server is kinda... stupid.
and yeah, i can see a lot of people dropping this once they get their harambe mount lol
I didn't see any players from others worlds talking to Potkin while we were still working on our progress bar. All I saw were Wanderers staring at our Skybuilder's Board.
It wasn't until we had completed the progress bar and were waiting for the FATE to spawn that the Wanderers started showing up in droves. While I saw some crafting during the wait, I still didn't see any turning items in to Potkin. It was all Coeurl players standing there. There might have been a few wanderers who did but still by that point they weren't boosting anything other than their personal XP/scrip. Our progress bar for the stage was already completed.
Let's not pretend large numbers of players are helping other worlds at this point in the NA. That might happen later down the road but it won't be until worlds have progressed as far as they can. Until then, players are going to be hoarding their collectible turn-ins (to the limit of their inventories) so when their world unlocks the next stage, they can boost progress than much faster. Once there is nothing else they can do to benefit their own world's progress, they might consider turning in on other worlds that are still trying to complete their progress bars.

lol... well not as many as the higher pop servers, but I never seen so many wanderers in one place on my server(Spriggan).
Gotta keep banging on about this. Maybe SE had the rose-colored glasses on and thought everyone was going to hold hands and sing Kumbaya while respecting world boundaries, but when there's loot involved it's better to assume the worst. Hunt trains were the dry run for this kind of thing. Something needs to be done ASAP, at the very least restricting Firmament access to native-worlders only would be a start, and quite possibly the only thing that needs to be done.
this please se its un called for. we cant even get into our own Firmament cause other servers are in itPlease, for the love of all that is good and fun, disable world visit to the Firmament.
It's creating issues where people are locked out of their own server's events, despite having been the people to progress the server to that point. People are getting salty and mean and it's an awful situation.
OK So.. wanderers complaining about prices being lowered because high influx of crafters... on my server. LOL
I get the sentiment that SE is using here and all, but this makes no sense to me. Could have just said that the restoration would be a collaborated effort performed by all servers, so that this sort of thing would be expected from the jump.
I would be more miffed about this if the rewards for the FATE we're better. I am only using the restoration for xp for my smol crafters until they catch up, and the FATE xp reward is dwarfed by the regular turn ins. It was a good chunk of scrips, but I imagine 80 turn-ins can match that 500 from the FATE pretty fast.
Hopefully the dust will settle in a few days. I didn't get any area lock-outs so far, but if its an issue, that probably should get a look at. Voting on home server priority on the area.
I'll admit to having been a wanderer that did the fate on another server, but I spent that time crafting and turning in what items I could to help move the progress. I wouldn't have even been there if I had been able to get into the event on my own server, which I could not, as it was flooded with people by the time I logged on, native and wanderers alike.
I don't think they should remove the restriction, as it does hinder lower pop servers from being able to get help. They should just add instances, like they do with all the other zones at the start of an expansion.
Give us Firmament instance 1, 2, and 3, and the issue would more or less be solved.
