Not that interesting. It came out in the middle of the night for NA.speaking about world visit, i find it interesting that all JP data center already enter phase 2 while in NA only the infamous balmung already in phase 2.
an interesting data...

Nothing weird here. Japan was around the time people were off when this came out (and also they are huge crafters). EU were around their evening time, then we were. Balmung was first because of how overpopulated they are.speaking about world visit, i find it interesting that all JP data center already enter phase 2 while in NA only the infamous balmung already in phase 2.

yeah, this true we have timzone and all that. but arent NA already past the prime time by now??
i think world visit can be harmful but also helpful for server with low population, or not so many crafter.
The difference between Balmung unlocking their first Concerted Works and the rest of Crystal was about 4 hours. It's not that significant in the long run considering this is a multi-stage project that will be lasting months, not days.
I don't think world visit will matter much once the "new and shiny" has worn off in a week or so. The first couple of days of new content release tend to be a mess then things settle down as players move back to their normal routines.

but one can argue that the rest of crystal progress get boosted by balmung player, hence the rant about world visit. but of course this is just one big assumption.
regardless, people cant participate in their own server is kinda... stupid.
and yeah, i can see a lot of people dropping this once they get their harambe mount lol
I'm okay with the world visit because it's only day 1 and a lot of people are on the glamour fever, as always. I just think people that are from said server should have priority entering the instance over <<Wanderer>>.
Maybe it has been, maybe it hasn’t. I’ve been on Malboro for about a month. What I do know is that Malboro’s progress moved at a snails pace all day and was the very last out of all servers to finish and I know there were quite a lot of wanderers there that didn’t contribute, but to say that Malboro did it all by ourselves? Well, agree to disagree.Malboro has always been a crafting oriented server, one of the reasons my FC jumped ship from Gilgamesh when we were looking for housing last year. We were never going to struggle to get anything done and definitely didn’t need the “help” from Balmung and Mateus invaders. We have 23k active players as of the last Reddit census.
Here’s the census of active characters on NA servers from October 2019 by the way, you’re a little misinformed about how many active players there really are.
I know people are really heated right now but it’s really not a big deal. Just hop to another server and pretend it’s your world for the 3 minutes the fate is active.
They should lock the world visit for 2 weeks, its not okay because its only day 1...
I think you underestimate the amount of crafting that goes on. Balmung is supposedly not the most populated world anymore. Also I hate to say this. But Balmung probably has a large percentage of the lore junkies and this update is right up their alley.
Not saying population isn't high. But content like this is way more likely to be cleared first on Balmung where world clears are more likely to happen on Gilgamesh. Just a different style of play.

I’ll just direct you to the LuckyBancho census and data:
http://luckybancho.ldblog.jp/archives/53942775.html
FFXIVCensus has been highly inaccurate over the years and LuckyBancho is regarded as the #1 source for census data. I’ll admit I mixed up my numbers between active and total pop. But you’re also disregarding an established, proud crafting community solely because you haven’t been around long enough to see it for yourself or get involved. Then you jump on the “do it to other servers if you want to join in” bandwagon. You should transfer to Gilgamesh, you’d fit right in over there.
