Ishgardian Restoration world visit.

This is the worst day since i started play FF14 last year. I cannot enter my own server's firmament for any events. Firmament was congested with players from other servers. PLEASE disable the function of letting other servers' players enter firmament!!!! We do our own work to restore own server's ishgard!!!

thye are like eureka afkers, they do nothing to spawn the fate but will be there to take all the rewards but it's even worse than that because they prevent people who actually made it pop enter the area.

I get that but I can easily clear more than 500 scripts in an hour 8 span in just an hour of gameplay. I merely see fate as a small bonus to getting scripts. I just happened to be there when it happened and I was curious and therefore participated. After it was said it done though it was a clusterf--- and thought it was poorly implemented, the fate itself that is. Yes I got scripts but I get 58 scripts per turn in I gathered for about 20mins getting mats and crafted them and got about 20 beds crafted netting me 1,160 scripts.

I was actually hoping I'd get a bonus to the event such as first access to the ishgard housing when they launch it thanks to my contribution.

yes, it's not a big reward for veteran crafters but it's huge for new ones who make the lower level items which give like 8 scripts?

The congestion is temporary, only lasts until the fate is over.

If people know the area will be congested, they'll zone in ahead of time. This will cause the area to become congested even earlier. The FATEs have notices about starting times several hours in advance.

I get a funny feeling this is going to get hotfixed VERY quickly. They might add a home world check in on the NPC.

Malboro is a pretty small server and there’s only so much crafting I can stomach. It stinks that healthy sized servers are suffering from world hoppers but I am glad that Balmung can hop over and help us progress and Malboro probably isn’t the only server that will benefit by larger servers wanting those extra scrips.

We had popped the FATE by ourselves, on par with Goblin for turn-ins most of the day according to friends there. I spent the majority of the day in the instance and there were VERY few Wanderers until right before the event started. Then we were flooded with them and everyone native to the server was locked out. They had not helped with the turn-ins all day yet showed up to reap the benefits of the crafters of Mal.

Malboro has always been a crafting oriented server, one of the reasons my FC jumped ship from Gilgamesh when we were looking for housing last year. We were never going to struggle to get anything done and definitely didn’t need the “help” from Balmung and Mateus invaders. We have 23k active players as of the last Reddit census.

Not being able to access content I was looking forward to (and yes, that I pay for as meme worthy as it is to say that), is really crappy and makes me not want to play the game. It’s made even worse by the Wanderers mocking native players and advertising CWLS in global chat to raid other server’s FATEs.

SE either needs to add a buttload of sharding for the Firmament instance or restrict access to players from the server. Both would be the best outcome for this debacle.

Yeah, maybe about 10-20 mins earlier and also most people are not going to know it's congested. I was in one where the spawn was about 45mins away and it wasn't congested then. However, regardless you'll just have to play smart around it. I am sure the guy you mentioned in your example was simply caught off the guard but I am sure next time he'll play around that issue.

But they're IMO getting a better reward which is leveling up crafts with ease WHILE getting scripts. Like I said I wish I known this event was coming 1-2 months ago because I would have held off getting my crafts to 80 and waited for this event to do so.

speaking about world visit, i find it interesting that all JP data center already enter phase 2 while in NA only the infamous balmung already in phase 2.
