PSA: Arm's Length makes you immune to Rescue guys! Tested it with one of my healer friends. The game treats it as a "Dodge". Of course the timing will be tricky, but at least we have some way to challenge it.

Wasting an essential tanking debuff to stop someone from using a life-saving skill is peak levels of petty.

As far as I see it, healers have to deal with a plethora of bad decisions from party members all the time. Rescue is owed to us to make our lives slightly easier. :P

I think the Rescue skill for the Healer role is absolutely atrocious, and needs to be eliminated. I have seen far too many instances of that skill being abused, such as a healer trying to pull a tank along further into a dungeon duty because the healer doesn't like the tank's pace, or a healer deliberately pulling somebody right into the path of an AoE attack out of spite. This is not right.
A player should only be able to control his/her own movements, and not have the ability to control those of another player. People need to focus on their own movements and actions, and let others handle their own. I can play the game myself; I don't need anybody else to do it for me!
I like rescue, I just wish there wasn't a delay for it to actually happen. There have been moments in which I have the reaction time to use it to save a tank, dps or other healer that is about to get hit by an aoe, but the delay on the skill is so high and slow that they end up getting killed anyways.
Make rescue have the same coding as Aetherial Manipulation or Between the lines and rescue will be a much better skill to be used on clutch moments. No point on having a skill called Rascue if help keeps arriving too late.
I love rescue, it’s fun as a healer to save your people. I think I gives us a little bit extra fun to have the power to pull someone to safety. I love it.
I wish Rescue had more range. Then it would have feasible use in alliance raids where people dont know the mechanics. Currently the range isnt enough to get a melee or tank off the boss and onto the pad on last boss of Crystal Tower![]()
