    seems like a step backwards. imagine all the similar andor identical meat icons or watever.
    a list with different sort by functions and the possibility to place and fix your items anywhere on the list would be better.

    when i tried swtor recently the icons were just a nuisance.

    That's not the actual inventory but a little widget that shows you your gear condition (left side) and a summary of your bag contents (right side) where colors represent different items.

    Navigating an icon bag menu would be easy with up/down/left/right on the Dpad. You could probably use L/R to switch between bags too. The biggest issue is making sure that icons are easy to understand or some other way to tell what is in each slot.

    im sry but no ff game that ive ever played has had bags. that too wowish/ rift. u want bags, then go play wow or rift. seems like wow players are dictating whats being implemented. this needs to stop asap.

    Heh bag systems in itself are ok, but the currently employed ones in WoW and it's clones are just more of nuisance than helpful at times, really.

    I'd like bags if they were just lists. I don't like the 5x5 idea. I don't like icons, I don't like pull and drop. Just give us a window with multiple tabs (like we have now for inv., crystals, bazaar) that I can move items between and specify where what type of items go where and when. I just don't want to scroll through a ton of equipment when I'm looking for stuff I just harvested. Or materia. Or <insert whatever here>.

    SE already said that they would have two different interfaces: one designed for keyboard and mouse, and another designed for controllers. That image looks like it'll be for the keyboard and mouse interface.

    That's because WoW did a lot of things right. It also did a lot of things wrong, especially gear progression and over-dependance on gear for stats, but there IS a reason WoW was so successful.
