Forgive me for being out of the loop but where can read about outfits being un-genderlocked? >_>
How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?
Pardon, but you realise that 2B outfit is completely optional glam to wear right? the real raid gear for men is 9S version...So I dunno why you're upset lol. you aren't forced to do anything. That's fine and dandy but for those of us who don't want to run around in drag we should have the option not too. I was cringing at the thought of not being able to wear the Yorha gear without glaming over it because they were going to put my giant masculine Hrothgar frame into a little dress designed for a petite woman.
If you want to do drag, that's fine, you do you. But let me do me too. Some outfits just do not look right on men or women because the shape of the body is completely different so forcing male frames into female attire and vice versa should not be the go to. If you want options, that's fine, but since the minority of ppl would want to cross dress it shouldn't be forced on the majority so they can wokewash the game and appease a handful of players.
And it takes tremendous resources to reshape outfits to the various body types, so if they only do a handful and put much needed resources elsewhere, that's completely fine with me. Cause they would literally have to create 2 outfits for each sex and then reshape each of them twice the amount they do now, when they could give us a new dungeon or fight or w/e else with those same resources, which is frankly much more important to the overall health of the game.
we really need to not be mad abt every single little thing this game brings..
More options makes everyone happy. This has also been requested as far back as the game's launch. I don't see the issue whatsoever.
I certainly would not mind my roe with either a more full beard or the old 5 o'clock shadow. But I'd also hope for body hair too for males...but that can only happen with *cough* mods *cough*
For those saying that this is a waste of resources, while I can see why you might think that, we don't know that for sure. For all we know it could be another instance of the teams working on things in their spare time. Additionally, while the bunny suit issue did seem to take a while to resolve, it's clear that some models aren't as difficult to adjust as others. Like Lalafells share the same models, and with things like the spring dress, that was already modelled to fit a Hyuran male, Hildebrand wore it way back in ARR.
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
A link to the reddit showing images do bare in mind it might not be the full list just the stuff in code right now:

Guy butt is best butt <3
And more to the point Yoshi P has in the past stated that he did want to make existing items wearable by both genders. In my eyes this is just Yoshi P fulfilling that desire from several years past, and I see it as nothing but a good thing.
For those of you who are worried about being 'forced' to wear 'drag' I don't think you're in any danger of being forced to wear Lv. 1 gear any time soon. Though I do find it funny that this is getting people riled up but I haven't heard so much as a peep about the numerous tank skirts or the fact that some of the gear from Qitana Ravel is straight up dresses on both men and women. It's okay then when it's actual leveling gear but now it's a step too far when the only items slated to be added are Lv. 1 glamour items?
And even if they did put out more 'drag' going forward I still don't really see the issue. That's precisely why we have glamour. If you don't want to be seen in a certain outfit just slap a glamour plate over it or invest in a few prisms to make the scary skirts disappear. It's not like the team is suddenly going to say 'you can't glamour this'.
That said yes to beards, yes to a rehauled CC, yes to dresses, yes to everything as time permits. More options isn't a bad thing.

I rather they spent there limited resources on converting helmets, hair styles for new races and adding primal weapons for new jobs. Think this is complete waste of funding. This is why new races can't have nice helmets and new job nice weapon glamours.
My only disappointment is now that males can wear the Thav set, alot of the interesting and unique male DNC glams are going to be the same boring as the female glams.
Also, lol @ people saying people are "freaking out." Chill yourselves and stop looking for the bad guy to yell at.
