Please reconsider removing job restrictions on glamour armor

Honestly though what's the excuse to have any glamour restrictions at all? It worked like that in FF11, didn't it? If you had your red mage at 50 and had the red mage armor you could style lock it onto anything else, and that should be the case here too. How does 11 have a glamour system less outdated than 14?

If I want to put my dragoon in the culinarian job sets or use the level 50 BSM bandana on my machinist that should just be a thing I can do if I can use it on my native classes, and that should get worked into every other job set in the game too

When they make all those pieces of gear open for everyone, they might as well reduce the amount of gear sets you get per patch by half. Because, why bother with diversity, right?

That does not follow. There is more diversity if you can mix and match everything. You get job specific gear because you have played that job. They are potentially open to everyone, because all jobs are open to everyone. Your character is a single person, not multiple people, who can be any job.

Honestly this, I'm really sick of being restricted to my glamours based on what job I play, I don't see what's so bad about a healer not wanting to be restricted to mainly robes or wanting to wear a pair of pants or gloves that's only restricted to a certain role.

I'm not asking to wear WHM relic robes and tote around a gun, but there's literally no reason I can't wear the Stormblood caster sleeves as a ranged dps, and there's literally no reason I can't wear the striking set of the new PvP armor instead of the aiming set.

If anything it drives me a bit crazy that there are a lot of good glamour options but I can only wear them if I play certain classes.

I think they should do it and allow us to use other pieces of gear from other jobs (only armor)

what they can do is make an option in the dresser where you tik a box saying you're ok with turning the piece of gear you want to use on another job into a level 1 glamour item and cannot revert it back, that way you wont be able to use that piece as actual gear but just glamour.
