Rng walls is the lazyiest way to padd content in a MMO imo.
They are just doing it to increase their stats of player playing time.

Well, I finally won it after about 20-21 runs. Won the outfit in probably the most cursed run ever, probably the worst I had ever been in, guess it was fate. 92 roll win.

Won this silly outfit with a 99 on my first run through of the place [thought it'd look cooler on my viera than it ends up being], still lost the minion that I actually want with a 3. RNG is RNG. Just means I have to keep running this thing till I get the thing I want, tis how it works and I'm fine with that.



This is the only reasonable complaint I can get behind. They locked untradeable minion rolls after you already own it, surely they could do the same if you own the outfit.

Do you have both minions? Even after all my runs, I still only saw the second one once. Or rather one of the two?

Oh, I don't care about the weekly item, that's just more glam for me. I do plan on running it again though for that glam, just not right now. I got caster butt armor on the 4th-6th run, somewhere in there. Maybe more or less. Can't remember. With the amount of tomes I have right now I could buy half a full set of 460 that can be upgraded, by the time I can get a couple more pieces of that glam gear. PvP is what I would rather farm at this point, grab some more glam from there. My dragoon, bard, white mage, gunbreaker, red mage, could ues another look to add.

Yeah, The second one I think is another Pod, but grey (?) don't quote me though. I just know I saw two drops on one of my runs, and haven't seen it since. It looked like a grey version of pod 054 that always drops. Maybe someone here or on YouTube has it, or knows what I am talking about. I lost it with an 86 roll, I remember that.

Actually its not RNG that's the laziest, it's timed content or weekly lockouts. RNG is just RNG. You either got it or you don't.

It's day THREE and people are crying about not getting the dress NOW, right AWAY, give it IMMEDIATELY how DARE.

Honestly, the 'immediate gratification' crowd in gaming/life these days is disheartening. And yes, I do have the dress, but it was on run... 8? And had I not gotten it... I was fine, because I ENJOY running it because I love the raid, I understand how RNG works, I support the concept to keep bodies in and running it so I can KEEP running it, and the concept of 'instant gratification' is a bit toxic and kills games because people just faff off once they get their shiny. I got the card, too... but since this is a brand new raid and people are going hard for collecting, I will no longer roll on the cards again for several months(maybe not until Pt2 drops even, to be fair and considerate of people needing to collect them). I still need to get 2 pets and all of the music. Not to mention weekly pieces of gear just to collect for glam. (Lawd knows I don't need them for ilvl... heh.)

People need to just simmer down and relax? Stop demanding things be handed to you 'right away' or easily? Instant gratification is not attractive, nor are the tantrums when you don't get it. Slow down a little and enjoy the game. If you need to step back and try again later, fine? The raid is a permanent addition. It'll always be there. And getting the dress doesn't reward some kind of 'social points' unless other people are pushing that on you, in which case you might want to distance yourself from those kinds of people.

While this might be true in regards to anything that only or mainly impacts an individual player - aka: anything you can and are most likely to do solo, like those horrible relic-fate-grinds - its less true for content like this, that involves and therefor impacts other people aswell.
If there was no incentive to run this content more than once (a week or at all), people who arent able to unlock it within the first few days or are able to get their weekly drop on tuesday would be pretty sh*t out of luck.
So no, they're not just doing it to increase our playtime, they're also doing this so someone with limited play time still has enough other people queueing for this content on a saturday 2 months after release.

Sounds like a reskin of Pod 054 then cause it has a gatling gun too. Just a super rare drop. 20-21 runs and I saw it once. Could just be another innocence situation, where I cleared that 120-130 times, maybe more and only saw the mount drop once or twice. Just me being unlucky.
