This. patience is a virtue, people. It's been 1 day so far ... one day. Chill pills are free and on me.

I actually think this is an amazingly forgiving loot system.
1- No matter what 3 coffers will drop at the end for everyone to roll on. So everyone has 3 chances to get it. That's great.
2- As time goes on, more and more people are gonna run this who have no reason to roll on it cause they already have it. Like, the raid isn't designed to be ran once. Next week people who grinded for a gear drop will grind of another. I'm sure by the time the next raid rolls out anyone who wants it will prob already have it if they just run it a few times a week. At some point a good amount of people in the raid wont be rolling on it.

It's a well designed carrot at the end of a stick designed to give people a reason to re-run this raid even without being able to get more gear from it until reset.
If you want you can always attempt to organize a farm party with people who have the drop or wont roll on it cause, again, 3 coffers are there at the end no matter what.

The ONLY problem with this system is that once you get the gear you can still roll on the chest.

You know there will be trolls rolling on the chest even though they don't need it.

There's no need for the complicated maths people have been doing, or working out separate chances of getting the first one then the second then the third.

There are twenty-four people in the raid, and three of them will win a coffer.

Therefore you have a 3-in-24 or 1-in-8 chance of being one of those three people.

That's all you need to calculate.

What do you expect the game to do, weight rolls based on dps contributions or something?

Just saying, I've not been complaining. Knew what to expect from previous alliance raids. Don't think I ever got the minion from Orbonne for example and I owe the latest event for me getting the dun scaith minion

Won this silly outfit with a 99 on my first run through of the place [thought it'd look cooler on my viera than it ends up being], still lost the minion that I actually want with a 3. RNG is RNG. Just means I have to keep running this thing till I get the thing I want, tis how it works and I'm fine with that.

This is the only reasonable complaint I can get behind. They locked untradeable minion rolls after you already own it, surely they could do the same if you own the outfit.
