Point is, normal mode story instances aren't gating the players you don't like. Which is self-evident, since you've met them enough to complain about them.
Being on Aether doesn’t exclude you from bad parties—you’ve just been incredibly lucky. I have been that healer in a dungeon with three other people who had no idea what they were doing before, and I’m on your server. Data Center doesn’t immunize from bad play. Just saying.

If you're going to snip, at least bold out where I referenced hand holding at 1-30. lv30 job quests should absolutely require decent gear, learning your role, and knowing how to deal with debuffs and AOEs. After that, it should be about learning how to play better.

There are people right now with all kinds of physical and mental impairments that can clear high difficulty content across a multitude of games. You having one and playing XIV by no means makes you the absolute to cater to.

The amount of "I have [insert something]-disability so how dare you speak against me thats blatant wacism and i'm gonna tell YoshiP about it!" comments in this thread is fascinating. Especially when considering those players are free to harass others in game for them expecting said block of wood to at least know the very basics of the game. But no, once you try and give tips you suddenly "dont pay their sub" and are "trying to force a playstyle on them" (aka wanting them to be more than a wet wipe on the floor) so they get all huffy and puffy about it then cry on this very forum or the official reddit.

And lowering duty difficulty (which is already at tie-your-own-shoes-level of required skill) will enable this kind of toxicity even more.

Okay so people with certain disabilities should just stop playing because people with other disabilities who can’t clear said content should just stop playing?

Hmm, I was pretty sure it was tied to Ng+

So the first time you fight as intended, and for Ng+ you kinda skip the pointless fight to jump back to story

You are actively being a detriment by willingly never learning to the hundreds of players you group with and a liability that should by all means, get kicked. Solo instances should be the tutorial mode that tells people, git gud.

Have your hand held 1-30 but you gotta take those training wheels off sometime.
From Levels 1-30, strictly doing the MSQ, a player has already gone through several dungeons and a trial. It's not like the game is a bunch of solo instances, and *then* party content. All of this is dotted throughout the campaign. Solo instances, by and large, are breathers to have your character actively participate in an action sequence. It's a narrative enhancement, not a skill gate.

    You're strawmanning

People with disabilities clear content just fine; plenty going on to complete Savage. Using disabilities as an excuse to justify nerfing content to toddler levels is not only missing the point entirely but is rather insulting to people who don't want to be coddled because of their disability.

The PLL made it seem that way, but the comment in the Patch Notes is independent of the NG+ section.

Am I the only one who found most solo instanced content to be mind numbingly simple already? What does it matter if they make the mind numbingly simple parts of the game easier? I doubt anyone was using those as means to improve anyways.

that is really hurtful to me, not everyone with a disability is the same, some are affected but it in different ways, I have a learning disability and I learn slower but I still try my best.
