Ongoing harassment in PvP FL

Is.... Is this a troll post? Are people honestly that upset by people using emotes/jumping on people/walking over people who die? If a ranged player was being particularly obnoxious with running and hiding, I occasionally jump on their dead body afterwards 2-3 times, is that really so bad and triggering? O-o

I've literally never seen anyone doing anything to taunt dead players throughout my 60+ FL games, so I'm thinking it's likely just a small few individuals being immature like this.

It's usually Immortal Flames doing it, which is just one of the many reasons why they constantly lose.

Yes dear, it is a terrible thing that happened to you, but it's up to YOU to move past it and get your life back. If you let it keep traumatizing you because of little things that happen in your life, then the person who did it keeps winning over and over again.

This is just a GAME, a silly game. Plus it is PVP, people are MEAN to each other in PVP, that is the whole POINT of PVP! No one is NICE there! Hell, I like to play white mage in PVP and I am SUPER mean to my fellow Mages, I kill them with impunity when I see them and I expect they feel the same about me.

Your character is NOT you, people are usually not doing things to you PERSONALLY. If someone mocks you in PVP, well, it's par for the course, everyone mocks everyone. Hell, I have mocked someone for trying REALLY hard to kill my poor WHM and failing.

You CANNOT expect to play a game with real life people at the other end of the characters around you and expect that real life thoughts and actions won't creep into it.
Anonymity breeds asses and people WILL be jerks, especially in PVP situations.

Just have a thick skin, laugh it off and move on when the game is done.

If I see someone in my GC do it, I just tell them to knock it off. Normally they do. It is indecent, but more importantly they are focused on their celebration and not the match.

I've even seen people die, while celebrating.

It's immature behavior, but that is all it is. This type of behavior has been around for a long time.

And in many countries if I could get the IRL identity of such a perpetrator and file with the police they would get a 7am visit from some folks in uniform as it is an act of sexual harassment.
