    I 100% agree with ForteNightshade.

In the end it is bots that profit and would even encourage to bot more because it will be much easier to get their botted stuff out. While people who try to work their way around the MB will be in a disadvantage.

The reason we don't sell in smaller stacks is the limit of items we can sell at a time. I would love to offer you 1 / 2 / 4 / 8 / 10 stacks of an item. But it eats up a lot of retainer slot that I could use to sell other stuff as well.

And if you - as a buyer - are not willing to pay the price for my 99x stack (although I rarely sell 99x stacks), then neither you or I make anything out of it. So there is no winner.

When you say: "If there are only 99x stacks listed then I go and farm it myself." - Please do so. Because I went out there. And farmed it at some point. And now I'm selling it. I put in time to get these items - and now I want to get gil for the time I spent working for the ones who are hopefully buying from me.

And I want to sell it to my conditions. And not put it in a pull with a bunch of bots and a bunch of others and wait if or if not my stuff or the bot stuff get sold first.

And honestly - at the moment most items are dirt cheap - especially from crafting. Heck, I haven't touched any crafted gear after the first week of 5.05 because the Prices crashed so fast that it is nearly impossible to pull even a decent reward for the time it takes to craft them.

I don't know what the prices are on Spriggan but on Cactuar, it's actually better to craft the mats for the i450 gear than the gear itself. In four years, I've never once seen any of the crafted sets drop below six digits except maybe the last few weeks of an odd numbered patch. Unfortunately, Shadowbringers made crafting into a complete joke which caused the markets to become comically oversaturated. What's so frustrating about this is it removes any real endgame for crafters. The highest level crafts are worthless passed the first couple weeks. That leaves consumables—which have serious bot problems—and older stuff that I don't even need to be level 80 for. Let alone have good gear.

The majority of players don't care. They just want stuff cheaper. They also seem to want crafting(endgame) to be dumbed down so that they can make the 'easy gil'. Oh and desynth is being made 'simpler' as well.

Not realizing that when supply exceeds demand, profit margins will go down.

Sure it was a problem, on the less populated servers with high prices.

Throughout Stormblood, SE told us more difficult recipes would be coming...they never did. I expect throughout Shadowbringers, SE will tell us that more difficult recipes will be coming...but not gonna hold my breath on that one.

I think many crafter/gatherer mains have already realized, there are more efficient things to do in terms of profit than crafting/gathering.

there are other items which sell like glamour, furniture etc, personally I have never sold hardest to make items, I just make them for myself or friends at the beginning of the patch and then don't do them ever again which makes me forgot my rotations so I have to figure them out again in every patch.
