That’s a bad assumption, though. They’ll keep PS4 support for a long time, it’s unreasonable to expect the player base to all be able to get a ps5 day one. Even if they do make a ps5 version, PS4 support will likely remain for years
I would argue it’s pretty reasonable. If not 6.0 then 7.0. Point is, it’ll happen. They can’t just support one console forever.
Yeah my point is that it can’t just stay PS4 supported forever, that’s a bit silly to suggest. So I do agree with you there.Console limitations was a thing mostly due to the PS3 only having 256mb of system memory, and 256mb of video memory. the ps4 has 8 gigs of shared memory. Expect ps4 support to last at least until 7.0. PS3 support only ended with stormblood, 3+ years after the ps4 released.
