I can only assume by 6.0 they’ll drop PS4 support since further improvements are highly requested. So it’ll only be PS5/PC.

That’s a bad assumption, though. They’ll keep PS4 support for a long time, it’s unreasonable to expect the player base to all be able to get a ps5 day one. Even if they do make a ps5 version, PS4 support will likely remain for years

I would argue it’s pretty reasonable. If not 6.0 then 7.0. Point is, it’ll happen. They can’t just support one console forever.

Console limitations was a thing mostly due to the PS3 only having 256mb of system memory, and 256mb of video memory. the ps4 has 8 gigs of shared memory. Expect ps4 support to last at least until 7.0. PS3 support only ended with stormblood, 3+ years after the ps4 released.

Yeah my point is that it can’t just stay PS4 supported forever, that’s a bit silly to suggest. So I do agree with you there.
