You know PvP is subject to fairly wild balance changes? The first 4 seasons are really nothing like the following 9, for example. Essentially people that played those seasons played a different game, as you put it, which makes;

I'd like the old feast rewards to come back for equal work.

Fairly difficult to implement. Next to impossible, I'd say. You could argue they could implement 3.x PvP again for the sole purpose of letting people earn those old rewards, but that completely ignores the competitive element of PvP. You simply cannot recreate the conditions of Feast Season 3 again in order to let people "put equal work" into obtain the Hellhound mount, because I'm fairly certain SE cannot force everyone who played in those season to come back and put an equal amount of time and effort into it. Anything short of that is not putting the same amount of work in, and when you factor in something like the Data Center split as well, all future seasons are significantly easier to place, so the idea of letting someone just forego whatever crappy reward Season 15 has so they can pick up a Season 1 reward? It's laughable. Placing in Season 15 is not the same as placing in Season 1.

Season rewards are effectively trophies for that season. To offer them in any other season undermines their purpose as such. You want a general reward for participation, you have the Wolf Collar weapons. SE should add more new items to that, if anything.
