Yep! Isn't it just great? HINT: It currently works EXACTLY the same as we have it here in FFXIV. How primitive! Lucky for them, they're now changing it to be like OSRS's Grand Exchange.

Being able to buy portions of stacks is a decent idea, but I fail to see how that will curtail undercutting. People have been doing it in WoW since forever. It makes sense, sure, but it doesn't stop or even discourage people from undercutting.

Undercutting is pretty common in all MMO's with a community marketplace. It's not really a problem/issue unless you're willing to get bent out of shape over it; and yes it can suck.

WoW had AHs long before FF XIV was a twinkle in SE's eye. lol I'm still not sure what the OP is getting at though aside from "yay another MMO is doing something".

But yet people will still undercut so other people will buy from them first. This doesn't solve that issue in the slightest.

That's just a very active market, you can't force something like that to happen. Some things will always sell fast and others will sit and just play a waiting game. Also I am not familiar with what OSRS even is; so I can't really give a fair opinion on it in any regard for critique beyond a seemingly active MB.
