Then take the stairs.
Then take the stairs.
Skip it or just leave the city in the old way.I understand the desire behind some CS's that are in the game but some are just wasting our time. Like the chocobo one to outside of the city or the lift one. Not only do these CS's delay us some of them crash our game like the one in Uldah. Please just remove these CS's, we don't need to see ourselves walk onto a lift then walk off a lift.
And I love the lift cs. If you don't like the lift cs, skip it or use the stairs.
More complains from players who use this, then.
Because they would skipped not repeatable first seeing cs accidentally.

No, I really enjoy the cutscenes.I understand the desire behind some CS's that are in the game but some are just wasting our time. Like the chocobo one to outside of the city or the lift one. Not only do these CS's delay us some of them crash our game like the one in Uldah. Please just remove these CS's, we don't need to see ourselves walk onto a lift then walk off a lift.
What is with this "delay us"? You are playing a game for entertainment and hopefully get away from the daily stress.
As for the game crashing, that is a completely other issue.
So, NO, I hope they put even MORE cutscenes.
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
This could be easily avoided by making it so the toggle only skips CS's you've already seen or make it so the toggle only skips some CS's.
Your right that its for entertainment however these CS's are repeated every time you use a lift or get a choco. Yes they can be skipped but having to repeatedly skip them is just silly.

I like using the choco cutscenes..it's faster than running out of the city on foot. (except maybe uldah).
The only cutscenes I really disagree with are most of the ones in the instanced raids.
I don't usually skip cutscenes, but the very few times I have, I haven't had a crash. Like I said though, that's something that needs the dev's attention. The CS crashes happen to everyone if you haven't had one happen to you then your one of the very few.
Can we complain about something that improves the game itself at least, and not make fixes for knit pickers?
Just because you don't agree with it doesn't make it pointless complaining. Most of the stuff people are complaining about right now is being done so why not this.
Didn't the elevators in the Bastok Metalworks move in real time? Honestly, I would rather have that.Actually, it's mostly to mask other players using the elevator- so that nobody else has to wait for the elevator to go up/down before they can use it. Technically the polys for the upper/lower level need to start being drawn but this only takes an instant. If you go to the airship landing, the loading doesn't take place until after the elevator animation finishes.
I like the chocobo and airship cutscenes, but there's really nothing epic about watching my character walk onto an elevator.

It is pointless complaining, because it doesn't improve the game at all taking it out or leaving it in. Like someone said, this sounds more liking finding a reason to complain, then actually bringing a valid complaint to the table.
