Is this gonna be the norm for getting Castrum in MSQ roulette..?

If the rewards were the same, people would be skipping on Praetorium instead because it's longer. Anything they do right now is a bandaid solution.

Praetorium: 45 minutes or so.
Castrum: 20-25 minutes or so.

Castrum + Lockout: 50-55 minutes or so. (Not even taking into account theoretical queue times, these times are assuming literally instant. Also assuming guaranteed Castrum on second queue, when you could just get Prae again and invalidate all that time and push the total time to 1 hour 20min+ range trying to get Castrum on a 3rd attempt.)

NO ONE is going to skip Prae to get Castrum, even if the rewards were equal. It's faster to do Prae than eat a lockout, re-queue 30 minutes later, and risk a 50/50 chance on getting Castrum. If the rewards were equal, Prae would just be a "ahh, I was unlucky, but at least I still get my 19million exp in 45 minutes." moment.

The queue time is largely irrelevant, since it's the same queue for either.

The only reason people do Prae over Castrum now is because of the huge difference in rewards. Take that away, and people will decide that they'd rather spend the lockout doing something else and come back later for their easy level-up, the same way they drop from Castrum now because they decide it isn't worth the time.

So im gonna be honest here and just speaking for myself, i bounce if i get the worst one bc its not exp efficient if there wasn't a difference i wouldn't care. If they would take out the exp boost i wouldn't run msq at all. Who are you to decide in the end if bounce or not right? Not like there will be any replacement unless everyone else bounces to then that just shows they didnt want to be here as much as i did ^^.

to make it simple if i have to suffer at least i want the most out of it. that's pretty much how i see it call it selfish but thats just me.

You can't with regards to the disconnect. You have no way of proving they actually didn't lose their internet connection.

Ok, but, consider, if you're eating the lockout at least once (potentially multiple times?) that's not very exp efficient either. Basically, tack on an extra 30 minutes to your next Praetorium run, and ask yourself if it's still "exp efficient."

You want exp, but in the time it takes you to wait out the penalty and try again for the longer run for the bigger payout, you could've just run Castrum, gotten done, and run another high level dungeon, and gotten done. By bailing, you are very probably spending more time trying to get less exp than you could've gained by being more productive.

Naturally, of course, that's all out the window if you're not the first one to abandon so you don't get the penalty. But, still a gamble on getting the one you want, still wasted time, still losing that "efficiency" you're after.
