PVP exclusive mounts rewards are unfair to non pvp players

You won't be unsubbed long then because that's basically what stuff like Echo bonus and unsynced does...
Totally destroys the exclusivity of every reward in the game..

Want that savage gob walker mount??? No problem just go face roll a4s with a couple of friends unsynced have it handed to you on a platter.
Want that exclusive louisoix minion?? Same deal just go smash bahamut prolly even solo it these days...

If PVP rewards are allowed to remain exclusive then so should PVE, and likewise if they continually hand out pve rewards on a silver platter so everyone can get them. then they need to do the same to PVP...

Amazing the level of hypocracy when people defend unsynced modes because they can get a primal mount theyve been missing easily.. but then defend esclusivity in PVP and say if you want the rewards then put in the effort to get them... the exact same thing should apply to PVE want the exclusive shiny.. get off ya ass and get it... just just unsync and get it handed to you..

Raiding was designed for players who wanted challenges so why allow them to be unsynced and destroy the value of the rewards... people complained about the story in coil. so they made a totally seperate story mode but still then go and hand out the rewards from the challenge modes like candy... and then do another uturn on things like ultimate by keeping those ones exclusive...

there's no consistency just a boat load of hypocracy.......

I will admit, I'm glad they at least want to keep ultimates at that level. You have to work for that "ultimate legend" title still if you want it, you can't just unsync cheese it. I do wish other rewards were locked like that though, it trivializes my raid mounts when I find out you could just wait and do it with echo for a way easier time. The only thing I get to keep after echo are the parses.

Unless you have a crew your consistently with who are queuing who know how to PvP, sometimes who wins and loses is the luck of the draw (especially given the format of PvP). That's not even considering that the bottom team can often screw over the winning group if it's neck and neck, which I've seen happen a lot. So it's not like PvP content wins are easy to come by.

That being said not for a second should anyone consider my post an advocacy for unlocking the mounts without doing what is necessary to win them. I only have two of them (the same one) unlocked across my characters and while I would want all (or at the very least the easiest one from the garo collaboration) for my characters I don't think it should be handed to anyone.

You want them, you need to earn the achievement for them before it goes away plain and simple.

It took me a total of 3 days to get my Feast mount. Mind you, this was only doing a couple of hours a day, and queuing alone.
I did a bit of research, and went in as a GNB a ripped healers to pieces with whatever group I queued in with. I didn't find it taxing or hard to get my wins. Practice runs count, so you don't need to play ranked to get the mount in The Feast.

Don't know how it is in your data center, but in Aether, for Frontline, I believe just being in the Immortal Flames(It might be them, I honestly forget) grants you a quick and easy win, because the teams are stacked.

Playing a few hours of PvP a day, you could still easily get the mounts in llike.. what.. a week, week and a half?

Getting wins in frontlines is very hard. Been in over hundred frontline battles and out of those only been on winning team 5 times. also seen a lot of cheaters and bots in them.

I use freelance when pvp otherwise I have 45 minute queue times. Also doesn't help most time all them are new players that don't work as a team.

Yeah, it's the same on Aether. Chances of winning on Mael is higher than the other GC (not 90% though).

Just don't be flames. I have horrible tales of what happened when I was there.

I used to think the same thing before, but it really depends on the time of the day. My queue is usually 20min in afternoons EST and in some times instant. It also helps if you have "join party in progress" checked.

I am pretty sure this has never happened in the entire history of FFXIV PVP. DO you have any sources? Or are you just spouting nonsense? Win-trading? Sure, some people have done it, those are the same types who buy/sell clears, they are a minority, and don't happen as often as your misinformation says it does. Please stop spreading unconfirmed, biased information, all it does is hurt the community as a whole.

I suppose I should only take claims from PvPers at face value even if they're diamond rank.

I tend to function under the assumption that there are always going to be bots in any kind of content that is unpopular but has interesting rewards, though. I don't doubt that it does actually happen but it's probably only in the lower ranks where they can get away with it easily against unskilled players. I've witnessed people coordinating bot grind parties in Eureka using their own accounts plus those of friends, so I'd assume they can do the same in PvP to a degree.

Regardless, I do think they still ought to make some of the old top 100 rewards available again at some point; perhaps several seasons after they were last relevant. Most of the people who earned the mount/glam awards are likely going to tire of them and stop using them in favor of the latest cool thing at some point.
