And while I liked your post, also I'm a jackass to some people here but I agree being a racist prick just because is a retarded thing to do but anyway, none of those things are actually illegal on the internet, they're frowned upon by most communities and majority of forums/sites tend to ban and block such kinds of acts but they're not actually illegal, contrary to popular belief internet has no law, its only people in it that chose to enforce the ones from the country they're located in to keep their own ass out of trouble because they are still liable for content on their site.

I know that, and I respect your point, but I didn't say the internet. I meant physical places, and they are illegal in those places. As they should be. Intolerance is a pretty big issue. As for the liability, SE needs to take some.

I remember pillory and public crucifixion was things of late middle age :X and quite out of place in every corner of an official forum.

They're still pretty commonplace today, but not so much sticks and spikes and stones. I fail to see how outing someone for their behavior is tantamount to crucifixion, but I see the parallels you've drawn. The problem is that GMs generally don't do anything about these types of issues. I've already followed the standard procedure though, as I stated.

Flaming someone is not the same thing is expressing concerns and sharing encounters with others of ones server. Flames need to be put out. Maybe they just don't want to increase their forum workload by actually moderating it? Well, other than protecting them from being "Liable" and deleting threads like mine.

If you know of a "Official unofficial" website with a forum like there was for FFXI for these kinds of things, (which seriously helped keep people respectful and civil for the most part) then please, share with the class!
