SE ain't homophobic and people labeling them as such need to take a chill pill and step back. However the new races have fallen back on stereotypes. In every Asian MMO that has genderlock the female only race tends to be over sexulised eyecandy - The Viera no exception and though some may think whats the issue with this. It just gets boring when you see the same thing over and over again in MMOs.

What I find kinda sad is that I see more people pushing an agenda for not having the other two genders.

While yes I fully support wanting the other genders and more character customization overall, it's not as deep ass *big beef men and busty petite women* It's more so *we didn't have the time to build models and rigs and new animations for them, so we compromised and gave you one of each and will add more later when we have time*

Please save your personal irl agendas for irl things where it matters, not a video game. It's not conservative views or sexism, it's time and resource management, which is a natural part of all businesses

Not in disagreement with the point of what you are saying, I just want to add that considering how quick those people are being shut down first by staunch pro-maleV/femaleH players, I don't think we are seeing more of those. Rather, what we see is just a small minority that pops in every now and then in this thread (yes, we know the beginning of the thread was a hot mess, but that was way long ago and some of their comments were even banned). The majority who participate in this thread already know by now it was a calculated decision based on resource management. Maybe that tiny minority do have an agenda, or they may have simply missed the memo and need to be informed. Still, it is good to point out the actual cause of this decision, which is resource management.

And yet instead of choosing male Viera and buff Hrothgar females they choose to go the common way of fanservice female Viera and beastly male only Hrothgar as the first and only beastial race. There is a trope for this and they filled it perfectly. That has nothing to do with some RL Agenda.

Its a ressource problem yes, but it was still their decision on what to do with the ressources they had. And instead of doing something else (like getting the first female beast race out) they decided to stick to the trope of beastly men and beautiful, sexy women.

I agree so much with this. Imo the smartest thing would just have been to release Hrotghar this expansion and Viera (even though I would rather see Pixies) next expansion due to popular demand. It was not only females who had a lack of more burly looking races, men pretty much only have Roegadyn as well. Hrotghar would have covered more uncovered ground for both men and women.

whatever the reason it is their game no one have the right to force them to do this and that. you can suggest yes but it is up to them to add it or not. if you really want make them do this and that go make your own game and put everything you like into it . people did ask for gears gender and today for race gender . tomorrow they going to ask for mobs/npc gender as well??

Not really. The Viera start off sexulised. Everything from their poses to the official art work to their staring gear is sexulised. Where as the Hrothgar (and yes folks will rule 34 them but this community rule 34s carbuncles and moogles ) aren't. They have gruff beast like emotes, decent racial gear ext. When SE release official art of a Hrothgar in a leather g-string doing a sexy butt pose then I'll consider them a fan service race XD

Don't Hrothgar have literally the skimpiest RSE though? Like, their chest is nearly completely uncovered and they have this tiny skirt. You can actually see their panties when they run.
