    The ironic thing is, when they brought Specialists about, I was saying that the system did not accomplish their stated goal (make single class crafters competitive with omnicrafters) and that the solution would be to simply grant, via specialist actions, all of the other cross class moves.

    They are still working on making single class crafters more competitive with omnicrafters. They’re just so far (apparently) reluctant to take the step I suggested but ahve been working slowly towards it.

    The thing is, single crafters will never be competitive with omnicrafters, because cross class components are needed.

    The only way to make 'single crafters' viable is if -everyone- can only be a single crafter, else you simply miss out on the big ticket items you have to charge more for to make up for the out of class components you have to buy, while having no advantage in your own specialized market.
