People would complain because they cant see the outside of their house. Plus wouldnt this mean they would need to increase the instance server capacity. But more importantly wouldnt instanced housing just be expanded apartments?

Apartments aren't instanced housing. They are open FC rooms. If they were truly instanced housing and not just some knock off of another in game asset don't you think it would have been easier to expand now. They keep throwing the bone out we are going to do X to apartments. It feels just like when someone says let me go to the back and look. It is just a routine both parties play to stay nice and dream.

Why would SE do that? The current system is an anchor to keep peoples sub active.
Once you buy a plot and put all the time into making a nice house you don't want to lose it so even IF you're not actively playing the game you keep your sub going and need to login once in a great while to go into your house.
Why would a company change that system?
