I can't imagine what it's like for people to learn it.Fairly certain the implication here is referring to your comment about English being easy. English isn’t an easy language to for non-natives to learn. It’s actually fairly annoying. And I say that as a native English speaker. There’s a lot of rules and exceptions that may not make sense - and pronunciation isn’t always as straightforward as it could be. Comparing it to Japanese, English pronunciation is kind of a mess.
